I know what you mean I've driven os giken multi plate clutch and its nothing like that. The engagement point is also not as small on the RPS clutch. Obviously its designed to slip so you have more to play with. The carbon material gets extremely sticky after you put some power through it, so it tries to grab hard and may make some noise when you slip it....nothing I couldn't live with considering the driveability and bulletproof-ness. Rob(RPS) has been using my car to get kinks out of the clutch. Wait till I start drag launching the car. I'm shooting for 1.5 60' with some suspension tuning. Right now my car has very stiff RSR springs designed for roadracing.
